1. Fate Begins to Stir

Athanasia was born a princess of the Obelia Empire. A prophetic dream shows her a future where she is banished by her merciless father, Emperor Claude. From a very young age, Athanasia refuses to accept that future. To change her fate, she begins fighting it fiercely, using her intelligence and charm as weapons. Alarmed at the fact that things have started happening differently than in her dreams, Athanasia finds an ancient book that will help her in practicing magic. When she begins her training, the mysterious great wizard Lucas appears before her with a warning.

Athanasia starts her magical training with Lucas, but she shows no signs of improvement at all. She grows dissatisfied with Lucas' teaching methods and begins comparing him with Duke Alpheus' son Ijikiel. Lucas says, "If you're so interested in him, then...," and uses his magic to send Athanasia to Ijikiel.

Since her debutante ball, Athanasia has received many invitations to parties held by the nobility, but Claude won't allow her to leave the grounds. That's when Athanasia decides to host a tea party within the palace grounds. And among the girls invited to the party is also a certain young lady!
